The 2015 BHS Safety Conference is taking place on 15 September. The conference aims to meet a spectrum of needs irrespective of your interest or involvement in the equestrian field.
The conference takes place at the Royal Veterinary College, Hawkshead Campus, Hertfordshire. This year it focusses completely on ’Fire’ and its implications on all areas of equestrian life from stable, transport and at events. Presentations will come from over 10 members of the fire service, each with expertise in different areas, plus a further presentation by Professor Josh Slater MRCVS who will look at the impact on the horse itself.
The fire service team will be led by Station Fire Officer Jim Green who has international recognition for his support of all equestrians safety from transport to stable.
Tickets are still available at £30.00 for a full day at the Conference including lunch and will include a copy of Guidelines for Fire Safety in Equine & Agricultural Premises, by Harry Paviour for each delegate. (worth over £30)
