British Riding Club Championships
A team from Vyrnwy Valley Riding Club travelled to Lincoln Show ground on Saturday 12th September to compete in the dressage competition at the National Riding Club Championships.
The team
The team was Suzanne Jenkins riding Camelot, Sarah McGrath riding Salenno, Jo Phillips riding Fraggle Rock and Sarah Roberts riding Warinesse.
Jo and Fraggle - 1st
Suzanne Jenkins and Sarah Roberts both finished in sixth place in their sections and Jo Phillips won her section with a score of 71.2%.
This meant that the team finished in second place overall.This is a fantastic achievement as we have never even had an Open Team at the championships before and they finished only three points behind the winning team.
So hopefully next year just a few more points will put us in the winning slot.
