Intermediate HT Team finish 5th
Intermediate Horse Trials Team finish 5th at Riding Club National Championships
Two teams from our riding club competed at the National Riding Club Horse Trials Championships at Aston-le-Walls this weekend.
The Intermediate Team of Ian Coe, Charlotte Jones, Kat Morgan and Karen Rees finished in overall 5th place, with Charlotte being 5th individually in her section. A brilliant and encouraging result for our club.
The Open Team of Anna Jones, Kat Morgan and Sarah Roberts started well but unfortunately the cross country caused some problems for Anna and Sarah. However Kat went clear and inside the time. After the show jumping phase this afternoon she finished in a fantastic 8th place to complete a brilliant weekend for her.
Jo and I went down yesterday to support our members and we were very impressed by the great team spirit amongst everyone with each team acting as support for the other when not competing.
A truly great weekend for Vyrnwy Valley.
