Ellie had her first jumping lesson on VV (her new warmblood) on Sunday at Radfords with James Dawson.   Although originally booked to be a joint lesson I think she benefitted from having a lesson on her own. 

Watching from the side,  and not really knowing much about horses,  all I seemed to hear James saying was Bounce – Bounce,  Bouncy Bouncy – must be a technical term that only horsie people understand.

The lesson went pretty well,  and it was felt that VV would be a good jumper – very willing and on the ball – as you will see from the picture below.

The only problem was getting the horse back in the trailer to go home…  only a few hours later and with the help of many people did she finally load.
