On June 28th we held a club social in the form of a lovely walk around Gaer Fawr Woods in Guilsfield followed by a drink and some food at the local pub.
We had a really good attendance and it was quite a crowd of us in the end between humans and our dogs!
Gaer Fawr Woods are maintained by the Woodlands Trust and have several beautiful footpaths to choose from. We picked a moderate one that took us about 40 minutes to amble around and take in the scenery.
Once everyone was safely back to the cars (with only one faller) we headed to The Oak pub in Guilsfield for a quick drink and bite to eat on what turned out to be one of the many gorgeous evenings we had this summer.
It was a lovely, simple social evening that I think everyone enjoyed. Sadly, we couldn’t hold another social this summer due to both myself and Kat having a very busy few months but, as always, if you have any ideas or suggestions don’t hesitate to let me or Kat know – firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
