As riding club members, we don’t all get to see each other at every event and it is easy to lose touch. So, with this in mind, we would like to hear what our members are doing with their horses and propose a members page in the news letter and on the website where you can tell us your news (new horse, first competition or fun ride, anyone you would like to recommend or absolutely anything else that may be of interest).
Please do try and send us something, it does make for a much more enjoyable newsletter. It’s your newsletter so any other suggestions would be much appreciated . We are also thinking of an equestrian agony aunt column, so if you have a burning horsey question that could be of interest , we will ask all our
instructors to comment.

Hi – love your new website & your newsletter!
Really good to hear the brilliant results from the teams too – jolly well done to all!
Looking forward to getting my young horse Henry to his first events this Spring. Will have to do all my dressage in a jumping saddle as he has put on so much weight over Winter the girths on his dressage saddle no longer meet around his rotund belly!

Hi, My name is Sara Wright and I am new to the area and the riding club. My husband and I moved to Arddleen from Ascot, Berkshire in December, just in time for the snow!
My horse, Uni, is a 15.1 bay mare and she is 16 next week and I’ve owned her for 10 years.
We love doing a bit of everything, she particularly likes sponsored rides and jumping. We also enjoy hacking, xc, showing and dressage and have a go at competing at everything, although generally unsuccessfully as she can be very nappy at shows.
We are totally new to the area and don’t know anyone or the area at all so any information that you can impart would be great!
I have a lorry so if anyone can either tell me about sponsored rides, competitions, web site of local venues to keep and eye on, places to hack I would be very grateful or if anyone would like company on a hack or sponsored ride just let me know.
I’m really enjoying the riding club so far. The newsletter is very informative. I did my first dressage competition in the area at Radfords a couple of weeks ago which I found published in the newletter (and came a way with a couple of rosettes)and I’ve had my first lesson with James Dawson which I really enjoyed.
if you have any information regarding horsey things I might like to do please email me at sara@timberandtiles.co.uk and I look forward to meeting you all in the future!
